The attached meaning of an image (subject) differs over time.
Time can be defined in infinite ways; by clock, by the colours of sky or by the political movements. However, times influenced people differently. My time doesn’t align with the others’. I am sleeping while some people are working on their shifts. Plants live on their time rules and obviously cactus live in different time zone to tulips.
Even though we live at a different pace of time, we naturally make ourselves be compatible and rely on each other in order to extend and continually produce time and space for “the present and the future”. And again, it is a cycle that “the present and the future” will be experienced individually and act out individually. The image that put into the new time frame will be re-perceived separately. Partly, it depends on which collective environments we are in ......partly pure spirituality that cannot be expressed 100% superficially.
If we are asked who exactly control the time, who decide to passing times. We don’t have the answer for that.
In paintings, Tsay usually start to work with a subject from her memory; an absolute form that detectable on her conscious level. During the process the identity of the figural memory become blurred and anonymous. Fluid movements allow the otherness to play their part in the painting space. Their time rules are something mysterious and challenge for the artist. It is in her mind that want create a space that works for all objects. It happened during the process, when the mattersand the distinctive appearances between them are exchangedto one another. It creates some conversation, with colour language. Layers of colours create psychedelic space that gives a voidmoment when time is passing from the memory into an unfamiliar. It is impossible to stabilize the meanings……yet.
(if time is ruined, how do we define meanings.
If we are living in the same time rule, then there is only one meaning we are sharing?)…( that is not a reality)
